I have a simple aim when I do photographs most of the time. Unless I am working to produce a thing to use in a design project I work to show another person the truth of what I see. I am not very interested in effects or making changes which showcase what I have in my photoshop programs. These days it is so easy to fool people with manipulations of one sort or another and people really seem to expect that. Occasionally I use enhancements. When I do though it is to bring out detail or make visible something which is not showing up the way I want it in the original pic right out of the camera.

I think of what I do as a record of the local scene. Between this page and Personal Pix which changes as the seasons progress as a kind of diary in visual form. It has always been my belief that people the world over like to see what things really are like where someone else lives. My photos are my contibution and I hope mmy efforts are what people would like to see. But, its like the weather, if you don't like these what you see today, wait for a few days and it will change.
